We are a small church with a large heart where the Scriptures are read carefully with eyes wide open to the world. Our goal, following Jesus, is to be as generous in our welcome as he was, breaking down every barrier that divides neighbor from neighbor.
So we are affirming of people of any sexual orientation or gender identity and we welcome people of every race, any political party, any religion, or no religion at all. We offer the bread and wine from Christ's table to everyone who comes through the door. We recognize all people as children of God, welcome all people to worship and serve with us and consider all who come to be a necessary part of this fellowship with all of its privileges and responsibilities. If this doesn’t include you, let us know and we will enlarge our welcome.
As a united church, we celebrate our diversity of belief and experience. This diversity allows us to honor our questions and urges us to question our answers. It means we are not strangers to doubt; but neither are we strangers to trust. We believe God is still speaking and we believe the teachings of Jesus have much to offer us and our troubled world. So we will continue to search for understanding, opening our hearts and minds to the direction of God’s Spirit and expecting to be transformed by what we learn.
If you are looking for a community gathered for worship, friendship, learning and service—where welcome means welcome, come visit us on a Sunday morning.
